2020 Miller Audio Prize in Audio Documentary

I’m really excited and amazed to say that I was recently announced as the winner of the 2020 Miller Audio Prize in the audio documentary category, for a piece I made late last year called Climb When Ready.

The piece is about climbing and being trans, and I originally made it for Radio 4’s Short Cuts. The judge for the competition this year was the #PodSquad’s own Alex Sujong Laughlin, so it felt really awesome that she liked the piece so much considering she has worked on some of the shows that got me into audio myself.
