My Life With Dementia, presented by Jim Broadbent – Dementia UK

Earlier this year I got contacted by the team from Dementia UK about helping them create their first ever podcast. The result is My Life With Dementia, a six part series presented by the one and only Jim Broadbent.

I produced, sound designed and mixed the whole series. It was a real pleasure to work on – I learned a lot of new things about dementia, and the team at the charity were really lovely. Most importantly, I got the chance to meet this group of incredible contributors, who shared their stories in the hopes of helping other people who are living with dementia, in one way or another.

Each episode features a different person telling their story, of either having dementia themselves or caring for someone with dementia. And in the last few minutes of the podcast, two of Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses have a conversation where they add a bit more advice and insight on some of the topics covered in that episode.
