VENT and Pride & Joy nominated for ARIAS

Some nice news this week is that the nominations for the ARIAS came out (the Radio Academy’s awards), and two projects I worked on have nominations.

VENT is nominated in four categories:

Best New Presenter (Khalid Dovie for his episode of VENT Documentaries ‘When Life Gives You Pain, Make Champagne’)
Best New Show (VENT Documentaries)
Best Factual Single Programme (‘Problem Kids’ from VENT Documentaries, presented by Nora)
The Grassroots Award

And Pride & Joy was nominated for the Impact Award.

Both of these projects were quite special to me in their own way, so it’s really nice to see them getting recognition from the ARIAS judges. Wahoooo.
